Endless Energy by combining Solar and Hydropower
Imagine being able to create 24/7 of renewable energy by combining water and solar to give endless energy when the sun shines and when the water is flowing.
Using Turbulent hydropower combine with solar, we can create endless amounts of energy using potential energy between two dams at different head heights. This is how it works:
Solar energy will produce an abundant amount of energy to power homes and daytime load during the day while the sun shines. The excess energy from the solar panels will be used to pump water from the bottom dam to the top dam. When the sun goes down, the water from the top dam is then released and drives the Turbulent Hydropower turbine which will then produce enough energy to power all of the night time loads.
During peak load operation, solar combined with hydro can be used to compensate for the peak load demand. In the event that there is not enough solar or hydro energy available, lithium ion battery storage systems can also be incorporated to compensate for higher demands.
